Documentation › The agent
Publish and version
One click to put the agent live. Every publish is a version: compare, restore, keep the history.
While you work, you're editing a draft that stays invisible to your customers. Publishing pushes that version live across your channels.
Draft and live version
The editor always works on a draft. The live version doesn't change until you publish, so you can prepare an update with complete peace of mind.
Publishing
When you're happy with the agent, click Publish. The new version goes live, and the router now reads this configuration for every conversation.
Version history
| Version | Change | Status |
|---|---|---|
| v4 | Warmer tone | Live |
| v3 | Return policy rules | Archived |
| v2 | Added the carousel | Archived |
| v1 | First draft | Archived |
Restoring a version
Did a release introduce unwanted behavior? Restore a previous version in one click; it instantly becomes the live version again.
Publishing interrupts nothing
Conversations in progress carry on; the new version applies to the exchanges that follow.
